Host families wanted

  • Local homes,
  • Main Street
    Green Bay WI 54229

We are a non-profit program that is accredited by the Department of State to facilitate exchanges for international high school students (ages 15 - 18) from about 40 different countries. I have been in this field since 1991 and hosted about 20 students myself. It is an amazing program that opens doors in so many ways, including being a major component in our public diplomacy, opening doors of understanding between cultures, making lifelong friends and family members, and beneficial to the local community. What I am seeking to do, is get the word out that we are looking for families to ''adopt'' these students for 5 - 10 months during the school year, beginning in August. We have a number of students still needing homes. Host families are volunteer families that ''adopt'' a student of their choice for 5 - 10 months during the school year. They provide meals, a bed, love and guidance. Students have their own spending money and medical insurance. I would love to do an interview and talk about the many faucets and benefits of this program. Below is a possible psa. Thank you for considering my request. Best Wishes, Teresa Knapp International Student Exchange Program Development 844-556-6688 AMAZING OPPORTUNITY! MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE..... IN A LIFE! International Student Exchange, a non-profit and Department of State approved program is seeking caring families in our area to host high school (ages 15 – 18) international exchange students for 5 - 10 months beginning in August. Host families provide 3 meals a day, a bed and a loving home. Students have their own spending money and medical insurance. THIS IS A CHANCE OF A LIFETIME FOR THE STUDENT AND THE HOST FAMILY! Students are NOW available for ‘adoption’. There is no such thing as a ‘typical’ host family. You just need a heart for kids, a heart to make a difference in someone’s life, and a willingness to make LIFELONG friends! Please call TODAY!
