Q90 Pints Of Summer - Memorial Day thru Labor Day
Can you spare a pint? One pint of blood can help save 3 lives! The need for blood donations increases through this heavy travel season, so the Brown County Red Cross and Q90 FM are teaming up for our 5th annual 'Q90 Pints of Summer.' When you donate a pint of blood to the Red Cross, sign in and write Q90 FM on the form. For locations, click on the Red Cross image at right.
Our goal is to beat last year's record of 92 pints of blood by Labor Day. We can do it! Dave from the Red Cross will give us an update each Monday morning. Click here to see how close we are.
Thanks For Another Successful Q-Drive!
Wow! We made 100% of our goal before July. Praise God! Once again, you, our listeners, have humbled us with your generosity. The Q-drive theme, 'We Need Each Other,' was fitting since we depend almost exclusively on your support. What would we have done without the vast crew of helpers, those who brought food, those who manned the phones, those who prayed and those who gave? A special thank you goes to Thrivent Lutheran, as well as to Blimpies in Bellevue, Cranky Pat's, Schwan's, Schreiber, and Sam's Club for the food, and to Lisa K for the chair massages for the volunteers and staff each day. Thank you all for allowing us to provide positive music and events for the youth and families of our community and the world.
